Essentially, it's a Classic JM with a \u003cstrong\u003eRoasted Maple neck and Abalone Dot upgrades\u003c\/strong\u003e available in custom colors (as well as stock colors). While there's certainly nothing wrong with standard maple, roasted maple is known to be more stable and lighter in weight, providing more sustain to your notes. It also has a visually darker aesthetic to it giving a more aged look.
